Raid Overview
Malygos, the Aspect of Magic, has declared war on mortal mages. There is just one fight in the Eye of Eternity, but it has three phases: on the ground, on flying disks and riding Alexstrasza's red drakes.

How to Get There
The Nexus, Borean Tundra
The Eye of Eternity is at the very top of the Nexus in Coldarra. The entrance is a portal at the top.
Key to the Focusing Iris
Anyone can enter, but the fight can only be started if someone in the raid has the Key to the Focusing Iris (the Heroic key for 25 players). The quest item for the key drops from Sapphiron in Naxxramas — in 10-player and 25-player mode respectively. The quest is turned in to Alexstrasza the Life-Binder at the top of Wyrmrest Temple.
Malygos

the Aspect of Magic- Phase 1: Vortex lifts the raid into the air. Power Sparks fly toward Malygos and empower him — kill them away from the boss: where a spark dies it leaves a pool that empowers players.
- Phase 2 (50%): Malygos is in the air, and Nexus Lords and Scions of Eternity fly around on disks. Kill the Scions and take their disks. Hide from Deep Breath inside the protective bubbles.
- Phase 3: the platform shatters and the raid mounts red drakes. Build up combo points with the drake's abilities, heal each other with “Revivify” and fly away from Static Field.

The loot is in “Alexstrasza's Gift” after the fight. It occasionally also contains the Reins of the Azure Drake — in both raid sizes.
Tips
A spark that reaches Malygos makes him 50% stronger. One killed near the raid empowers you.
Phase three is a vehicle fight. Read up on the drake's abilities in advance.
Pick up the key item when you clear Naxxramas: without the key you can't summon Malygos.
