About the Game
Is the server free?
Yes, the game is completely free. Signing up, downloading the game client and playing involve no payments. Shop currency can be earned in the game and by voting for the server. Premium lets you raise your personal XP multiplier to x6 (without it — up to x3), gives x3 honor and profession skills, and perks through the ValorVIP addon.
What custom races are there on the server?
The standard races plus custom ones with unique racial abilities: Worgen, Goblin, Void Elf, Lightforged Draenei, Dark Iron Dwarf, Kul Tiran, Broken, Nightborne, Zandalari Troll, Vulpera, Eredar, Pandaren, Dracthyr, Illidari and more.
What are the server rates?
Experience x3, reputation x3; gold, loot, professions and honor points x1. The .xp set command lets you boost XP further: up to x3, or up to x6 with Premium. Premium also gives x3 honor and profession skills. Daily bonus: Mon — reputation x2, Tue — gold x2, Wed — quests x2, Thu — professions x2, Fri — stats +10%, Sat — honor and arena x2, Sun — luck (rare items x5). Days follow server time; the new bonus starts at 20:00 MSK.
How do I start playing?
Three steps: create an account on the website, download the Valor launcher — it installs and sets up the game client for you — then start the launcher, log in and click “Play”.
Technical Questions
Windows says “Windows protected your PC”. Is the launcher safe?
Yes. That's how Windows greets any new program that not many people have downloaded yet: the launcher doesn't have a paid developer certificate yet. Click “More info”, then “Run anyway”. Only download the launcher from valor.su. The launcher installs updates by itself, and this window doesn't appear for them. What are the system requirements?
WoW 3.3.5a isn't demanding on modern hardware. Detailed minimum and recommended requirements are on the “Getting Started” page.
What is ValorBots?
A system of AI bots: they sign up for dungeon and raid queues on their own. You can add them to your group while you're inside a dungeon or raid. Bots use their class's spells and tactics, just like real players.
Can I play with a regular 3.3.5a game client?
No. The server uses modified game files, so you need the Valor game client — the launcher installs it.
