Valor has received a big update. Proximity voice chat, a warband camp on the character select screen, a new login screen, a redesigned Battle Pass and Path of Glory, playtime rewards and a bot companion window. A short overview of each is below; the in-game texts are in Russian.
🎙 Proximity voice chat
You hear the players standing near you: full volume within 8 yards, quieter further away, silence beyond 40 yards. No Discord or other software, just a microphone. On your first login the game asks you to choose push-to-talk (the key left of 1), an open mic or no voice. Mute everyone or a single player, change the volume and your hearing radius in the /voice window.
🏕 New character select screen
The character select screen now works like in World of Warcraft: Midnight. Your heroes stand together in a warband camp with name plates above them; the selected one stands up, the others rest by the fire. The list on the right has Favorites, your own groups and search, and you can drag characters between groups.
⚡ New login screen
The login screen has been refreshed too: a living background with lightning and a beam of light, Tyrande and a nightsaber, a new logo and an arcane frame around the login box.
⚔️ New Battle Pass window
The Battle Pass window was rebuilt from scratch: season heroes with live effects, a level medallion, a reward track with premium and free rows, the grand prize and a Tasks tab with PvE and PvP filters. The hero shown depends on your faction. Open it with /bp or the minimap button. Season 2 “Frozen Campaign” ended on September 30; the next season will be announced separately.
🏅 Path of Glory and playtime rewards
Dungeons, raids, rare enemies and quests give glory, and glory raises your rank. Each of the 14 ranks now adds +0.5% to all attributes, up to +7% at the top rank, and the window shows the exact gain for every attribute. There is also an on-screen glory bar, a new-rank banner, a minimap button and a Hall of Fame with the top 20 heroes.
Playtime rewards work again: after 30 minutes, 1, 2 and 3 hours in game each day you get gold, glory and shop bonuses — 140 gold, 140 glory and 3 bonuses in total. Time is counted for the whole account, AFK time does not count, rewards arrive automatically. Open the window with /слава or /glory.
🤖 Bot companions
The old UnBot panel has been replaced by the Bot companions window. Pick your role and press "Assemble": the window summons a tank, a healer and damage dealers, gives them a specialization and gear for their role and checks that everything is set. You can also assemble a group for a specific dungeon or raid. Group commands, formations and each bot's tactics are buttons, and there is a quick command bar on screen. Open it with /боты or the minimap button. The bot limits from the server rules stay the same.
How to get the update. Start the Valor launcher — it will download the new client files.
