Step 1. Account
It all starts with an account on the website: you'll need a username (Latin letters and digits), an email and a password. The game is free — sign-up, the game client and the server itself require no payment.
Step 2. Launcher and Game Client
Valor needs our own game client: the server uses modified game files, so a standard WoW 3.3.5a client won't work. The easiest way is to install the launcher — it will download the game for you or update a client you already have installed.

Step 3. First Login
Start the launcher
Wait while it checks the files and downloads any changes.
Log in
Your username and password are the same as on the website.
Click “Play”
The realm is Valor x3. Next comes creating your hero.
Creating a Hero: Race and Mode
Besides the classic Alliance and Horde races, Valor has custom races with their own racial abilities. Pandaren and Dracthyr are available to both factions. Details on each are in the “Races” section.
Normal Mode or Hardcore
When creating a character, you can choose Hardcore mode — one life and no second chances. Here's how it differs:

Your First Hours
XP on the server is x3 — three times faster than the original game, and reputation is x3 too. Gold, professions and honor points are x1. With the .xp set command you can speed up XP even more: up to x3, or up to x6 with Premium. Premium also gives x3 honor and profession skill gains.
New spells are learned automatically when you level up.
The server auto-sells gray junk.
Not enough people in the Dungeon Finder? ValorBots will fill the open roles.
Pass levels grow from normal play: quests, dungeons and battles.
Daily Bonuses
Each day of the week has its own server bonus. Today's is highlighted. Days are counted by server time (Krasnoyarsk), so the next day's bonus already starts at 20:00 MSK.

Valor Trial: Your First Reward
From level 8, the VALOR quartermasters in the capitals offer the quest “Valor Trial”. It's a level 10 quest: deal with enemies near the starting zone and bring back trophies. The reward is 10 gold, XP and a VALOR Reward Chest with a random safe inside.

What's inside the chest
Right-click the chest to open it. Inside is one of three safes — each has the same chance, 1 in 3. Right-click the safe to open it as well.

Bonus and the Shop
Bonus is the in-game shop currency (1 Bonus ≈ 1 ₽). You can also get it without paying: for daily quests, in the Battle Pass, 20% of your invited friends' top-ups, via promo codes and in promotions. Voting earns you votes — a separate currency with its own showcase in the shop. The shop has Premium, mounts, pets, looks and services: name, race, faction and appearance changes.
Where to Go at 80
Content unlocks in seasons: the server progresses through the WotLK tiers — from Naxxramas to Icecrown Citadel. Here's what's already available at max level:
Final bosses of Heroic dungeons may drop a bag with a Mythic keystone, and final bosses of Northrend dungeons may drop seals for the “Relic Path”.
Keystones from level 1 to 25, affixes, a timer and loot up to item level 284.
A chain of nine quests in Dalaran. The reward is a tier 2 neck of item level 290.
The raid of the 3.2 season. Tier 9 sets of item level 258 are sold for Emblems of Triumph at the Argent Tournament Grounds.
Open since August 22: 10 players, Normal and Heroic modes. Spend Emblems of Frost at the quartermaster in the camp outside the Citadel.
Pudja the Unbothered in Icecrown. Once defeated, he respawns on a timer.
